Abandoned Scirocco...

It will depend on how your state's rules for abandoned cars go, but you may
end up with it anyway if you express interest.
Also, if it is done legally, and its roadworthy, you may save it from "no
title limbo", and we all know of some cases where this has been a source of
trouble. If you have the title, you have no problems licensing it, insuring
it, or selling it.
