Nope! doesn't hang any lower.

Nope! No hood clearance issues. You will need to modify your rain tray for clearance to the throttle
linkage.

The 2 1/4" will help the 2.0 make more power, but isn't necessary.
What is necessary is a longer downpipe or a spacer to accomodate the head sitting 16mm higher in the
car

No mounting issues. Same mounts, same locations.

I believe the 2.0 ABA only came with the 020 tranny in the MK III. The VR6 used the 02A.
