I ass-u-me-d that Norton would take care of it, if it was a virus.

Norton found it, but it couldn't delete it.

D'oH!

I just got done fixing my XP system, by following the instructions on
the Norton site.

ARGH!!!

Yeah, I just spent all last night trying to rid my computer of a virus.

Problem is my dad uses my computer to check emails and use the internet
and he is
not computer savy and will open everything I told him not to but seems
he
still does it.  So the virus program would not clean the virus so I had
to just
delete it.  Well that screwed up my computer the rest of the night and
would
hang up on the check disk for errors thing when the computer starts up.
So I
tried all the different safe modes and what not.  By 1am I just said
screw it and
I let the computer sit on the checkdisk screen where it hanged up on and
went
to bed hoping it might fix itself.  Well this morning it was all loaded
and
it fixed itself, yaayyyyyyyyy.
