What gauges are the same as the 140 mph Scirocco?

The Mk2 Scirocco clusters are pretty much plug-in compatable with A2
Golf/Jetta clusters from 85 through 89.5/90 With the the introduction of
Central Electric in 89.5/90 (for A2 cars) VW went from two 14 pin
connectors to a single 28 pin connector. At this time the water level
control unit moved from the relay plate into the cluster, the overtemp LED
moved into the centre led array, and the oil pressure warning cirucit
moved from behind the speedometer to be integral with the tach/clock
board.

Individual components can generally be swapped around from the different
years of clusters without issues. Tach faces have either have one guage
bay (fuel) for non-upshift light cars, or two (coolant temp and fuel) for
upshift light cars. Printed cricuit foils come in MFA/upshift and non MFA
upshift, and MFA no upshift/non MFA no-upshift. Speedos fit across the
board, but you may need to swap the hall sender if you have cruise control
or MFA.
