Turbo Diesel Valve Springs in a 16V?
This is a really good question... as I have heard many myths
on valve springs... like that the "High Performance" valve
springs sold by Autotech are really just diesel springs...
which is what I purchased for my 16v head rebuild.
If in fact they are diesel springs, I have not noticed any
problems, but also no gains either. I unfortunately have
reason to believe that my valves still begin to float
over 7k rpm (according to dyno and dyno operator).
Hmmm... I need better springs too, regardless of what
Autotech actually sold me. :(
