Need some answers.

Can I put a hydraulic GTi/GLi head from a 85-87 8v on my 1.8l GX block?
Would it help any to do so?

Where do you guys/girls get Mann  oil filters from? Dealer? Local auto
parts store? Which auto parts store carries them?
