I ain't idling!

Hey everybody, have a idle problem that has been ongoing.  I've 
read this in past postings, but I can't find them.  

Whats going on in my 86 8v:
Really bad cold start.  Start the car up and I get a really low 
idle or it quits.  I've got to give it gas to keep it from dying 
initially.  But after moving around it will idle but high.

After I have been driving around for a while and I get caught in 
traffic and sit in one place for 5 minutes then I can hear this 
buzz getting louder, and then the engine dies.  The buzz is 
definately the pump, I've turned it on and gone back and 
listened.

Oddly enough, I can't seem to get my idle down either.  My idle 
jumps around but usually hovers at 1200 when the cars warm.

Here is what I've done
Fuel system:
Brand new main pump-the old one was making the same noise.
Transfer pump- definately working and been out and cleaned.  
Fuel accumulator-checked and does not leak fuel out the end so 
its fine.

Ignition system:  
New hall sender- cause the old one was broken.
