Rattleing and grinding comeing from the front drivetrain...

I made a press for the front wheel bearing. I went to the hardware store and 
bought a 24' piece of threaded rod and some matching nuts. I also got a 
variety of big washers. With the hub on the car I ran the rod through the bearing 
and had a slightly smaller bearing shell (from some other car) , but I have also 
used a large socket,backed up by 2 washers, used 2 larger washers on the 
opposite end with a nut on both ends and started turning the nut. I may not 
describe it the best but I think you know what I am saying.Good luck, Michael
