for yourself: Mark's Auto Repair
after yourself and your partner: Mark & Bob's VW Repairs
    or M&B's Auto Repair
for what you work on:  VW Repair Shop
a more generic label:  German Auto Repair
for it's location:  Smallville VW Repair
for what you do:  VW Speed Shop
a German reference:  Mark's Autohaus or Mark's Motorwerks
an Anglicized reference:  The People's Car Repairs
totally off the wall: Big Time Yellow Fast
a literary reference: Wizard of Oz Auto Repair 
    (be careful of trademarks and copyrights)
an historical reference: Silver Arrow Speed Shop
a tangential reference: Autobahn Repairs

or some combination of the above.
