Post Decals

Hi.  The black vinyl decal on the posts between the passenger and rear 
windows have wrinkled and cracked.  Has this happened to any of your Sciroccos?  I 
have tried to find the decals to replace them, but they don't seem to be 
available.  Someone suggested I have them painted, but then this is not originally 
how they were.  It may be the easiest option though.  What do you all think?
