Yup, I remember when my '79 was a roller, and I had to roll it out of my
garage to work on somebody's Scirocco, Rich's black 16V, I think...

I had an outer CV in each wheel(to save the bearings), I didn't install
the pinch bolt, because I didn't think it was necessary, and when I
pushed it out of the garage, the one ball joint popped out.
