Yes the rotor does need to be glued on. Any High temp. 2 part epoxy will be
fine. Make sure its really clean, no oil, before you glue. You'll see when
you get in there that the old one is glued in there, and you'll have to break
it free, you'll find out that most dealers have no clue about any VW built
before 1993.
