[SPAM] RE: OT, Jetta door latch question

For my 86 Jetta, I had used some grease from good ol Canadian Tire that was
meant for extreme temperatures. It must have been the other extreme,
because even at -25 the stuff just froze. I thought i was being smart in
mid-november, lubing all my locks, but then it went below 30. It actually
snapped the part of the handle that you squeeze, so now I use WD-40 problem
free.

Oh, and if yours does break, when you swap the lock over make sure you have
the key in the lock, I forgot to do that on my only lock that worked (the
other one had a screw driver jammed into it) and now I can't lock my car,
but i have nothing tempting inside anyway.
