H4/H1 Headlight

Is it my imagination, or are the lenses more prone to cracking in the winter
time?

I'm debating to myself, if I should replace the left cracked, but working
Hella H4 on my daily driver, now or in the spring. 
I have another spare cracked H4, and get this it says "Bigie" on the bottom
of the lens, that I was going to use on the right side, so that the
uncracked headlight can stay that way.

What do ya think!
