Congrats on the victory, Julie! While it has been a while since I have hada good victory (or one at all), I do remember the nice feeling, ESP. when the other guy just sees a beater... I did drive a friends' VW pickup, which is battered to sh!te, but has a high-comp 1.8 and a radical cam. The fella I raced was in an '03 Jetta 24V VR6... I think he could have beaten me with it if he drove a little different, but all he could say when he pulled up next to me was, "That thing got a six in it?!" :-) He has wanted one ever since...
