Lightened Flywheel -2.0l 16v

Larry thanks for the reply. Would another way of characterizing it be
better throttle response?
Rick.

A lightened flywheel adds no horsepower, nor does it decrease engine
torque.
What it does is allow the engine to rev up (an down) quicker, thereby
increasing acceleration and deceleration. i.e. it makes the engine SEEM
more
powerful, especially in the lower gears.
It does not seem to negatively affect idle and doesn't seem to make it
any
harder to launch. At least that's been my (albeit somewhat limited)
experience. It seems to be one of those unusual mods that have no
downside.
