Is it A/C oil? Did you say the A/C was making the
noise and the noise went away when you toggled the
switch? 

Is the motor oil showing a loss on the dipstick? Is
the leaky stuff really stinky (gear box oil)?

btw- there is an accumulation of stuff that is
flagging the SPAM tag, partly it's the fact that your
email address ends in a number, and some other stuff.
