Odd, this car is less then 10 minutes from my house, but I've never
seen it before! 

I may go see it just for the hell of it, if I do I'll take some pics

a) As far as I know, the GTX wasn't sold in the US.
b) He should let us know how he knows it's a 2.0l.  Could be a
transplant.  Weren't all 16v's 1.8s?  Or did the 2l show up at the
end?
