Another 'roc with idle issues
Changing the climate would fix the problem, Keeping the car in a IL suburb would make the problem disappear.
Sorry Dee, I had to do it.
Let me look at all of my previous car problems to see if that event ever happened to us.

My '86 is a little under the weather and I'm not sure where
to start troubleshooting.
Car starts and runs ok. However, shut it down and start it
again while warm, and it quits. You can keep it running if
you catch it before it dies, but it will quit when you try
to let it idle on it's own. It will do this for a couple
minutes when warm, then settle down as if nothing happened
and run fine.
What gives? To me it seems like a fuel pressure issue but
I have no way to test that. The car stumbles a bit when
cold (first two minutes or so?) and is very hard to start
when below about 45 degrees, but I'm not sure these
problems are related. It's been very slowly getting worse
for a year or so I'd guess, with the hot start issue
cropping up in the last two days.
Thoughts and suggestions?
