16v: how do i keep oil from flooding the distributor?
Difficult to source from VW.
Any bearing house should have them or be able to order them.

Are the seals readily available? The attached tech procedure makes it seem
as if they are difficult to source.

..be a WHOLE bunch easier to just replace the distributor seal and make
everything just like the factory intended.
(why do we always think we are better engineers than those who designed
this car??)
