HELP!! Need pistons questions answered ASAP

O Delightfully Verbose One:

I have to wonder: Why do you need forged?  They are better in certain applications (forced
induction) but generally not for NA street use.  A good stock replacement cast (hypereutectic
iff'n you want) piston will last a long, long time.

Now, if you want to do something really cool, take some long ABA rods and get a set of custom
pistons made with a higher pin height, and get a high-revving, flexible engine from the high
rod/stroke ratio...that's what _I'd_ do if I had the money and time...

Anyhow, I say to skip the forged pistons unless you have a good reason not to.
