And those folks would be right! It's fun to do, too. There's nothing
quite like holding the engine at high idle as it smokes out the
neighborhood with noxious and quite opaque clouds. Especially when the
car runs well afterward. Great for spotting exhaust leaks too, while
you're at it. :)
I'm going to Sea-Foam my Mercury someday soon. It's been running rich
since I got it, hence a fair bit of carbon build up in that crusty old V8.
I think my neighbors (the ones who had it towed) deserve a li'l something
special to wake up to some Sunday morning soon ... say, 6 am or so?
