Sorry about the flippant subject line, Kirsten, but after seeing the movie I 
had to draw a parallel...

Great work so far and excellent research. At this point, I am very happy to 
see that YOU are the one spearheading the turnsignal project. I only wish it 
was for the EARLY (pre-78) ones-- as my "show project" Scirocco ("Emerald")  is 
a 77. 

 I still have 79 and 80 models so don't cross me off the list...

Just a letter of encouragement. It seems that for much of the stuff available 
for our "old" VWs, the majority of the suppliers cut corners--high standards 
are a seldom taken option.

Glad to see you take that option. Sorry it has been such a hassle-- but it's 
obvious you are working towards something very special. I forsee many a show 
Scirocco with "Funksoulkitty turnsignals" on the build sheet..
