IMHO - Anyone who buys a Scirocco should arrive at the seller's house
with a new grounding wire tucked under one arm.
Yes, replace it...Even if it doesn't "appear" to look bad. It's cheap,
easy, and healthy for you car.

Since I'm teaching myself to work on this car, has anyone done this

could they offer any insights of what to look for? SHould I just buy a

ground strap and replace it?
