I had contacted Dirk about a planned trip to Germany in 2005 with some 
general Qs.
Quite some time went by and I got a reply.  Not sure what line of work he 
is in, but he
travels abroad quite a bit and seems to be spending a lot of time in 
England on a project
(like weeks at a time).
