unsticking a stuck caliper?

noticed a screechy brake noise from the rear, and 1 rotor was much
hotter than the other after driving. turns out the rear caliper was
stuck a bit. the wheel turned with a lot of effort (more than the other
side). took the caliper off the carrier, screwed it in and out a bit
trying to loosen it, and replaced. seems like that unstuck it a bit, but
i imagine it'll restick soon. any cure for this (short of buying a new
caliper)? i have a 1k mile round trip to make on tuesday, and i'll only
be able to work on it tomorrow, so no time to order a caliper before
then...

(had to add-new tt header/cat is in the mail, to be installed next week!
hopefully that will cure the slowness that's been plagueing the car for
the last 5+ months)
