Lower support brackets

 custing would not help (other than relieving some of your frustration...and there are better ways of doing that)

  New problem is that the rear attaching bars do not go back far enough. Its a 
  1/4" off. I could cust and bend the frame emtal, then drill, but I am 
  hesitant to do that
