Here in the south if you don't have the title, you can go to an insurance
company and take out a title bond ($50.00) then take that and the BOS to the
county clerk and register the car. also I have just printed out a standard
BOS and filled it out myself, though I would only do that if you were sure
the car history was clear of any problems that might alert investigators
(i.e. car from good friend,mother,uncle,ect.)
