fixing dash cracks...?

I (and I think about everyone else) have thought about this before, and my 
take on it is that unless you had some kind of extremely stretchy vinyl, you 
wouldn't be able to get it around the scirocco's instrument cluster without 
seams somewhere, and that gets complicated...
