fuel Tank recall

[aion at sdf.lonestar.org (E.Noval)]

Well, my dealer could not find the recall, and when I went to VW USA, they
looked up my VIN in their database and said, "no recall!". I couldnt get
any other info out of them except for that.

Either the recall only affected a certain VIN range, or they have expired
the recall.

Has anyone had any luck dealing with this problem in the last 2 years?

Im going to have to tear apart the fuel system and do it myself, most
likely.

Maybe after more investigation it will be a hose which is leaking.
