Removing lower half of airbox

I want to replace the main ground cables, or at the very least check if
the battery ground and block ground cables are attached to the body.  It
seems to me the best shot I have of getting a visual and/or replacing it
would be to remove the lower portion of the airbox.

 

The question:  how the *()@$# do I pull it off without detaching fuel
lines and such from the upper portion?
