vinyl and plastic restorer

Hi all,
Just got the car back from being painted (finally).
I had pulled all the exterior pieces off so the bodyshop would have nothing 
but a stripped body to work with, and now I want to put it all back together.
But, wait! The faded plastic and vinyl bits won't look so great on the 
freshly-painted car. What does everyone recommend for restoring the 
appearance of black plastic and vinyl stuff like the grille, bumper covers, 
etc?
