lol are we helping someones children with their homework?  In any case i am
bored so here is the answer.  The chance that if you flip 3 coins that all 3
will land heads up is 1/6 or 16% of the time.  Now for explanation of the
answer.  If you flip one coin it has 50% chance, so you flip the second coin
and it also has 50% chance so that is now down to 25% of the time for 2
coins(just add the fractions) and then you get 1/6 for 3 coins.

easy answer, since the odds of a coin flip are 50% heads or tails, there
fore the possibility of 3 coins landing on either side remains 50%,
now the odds that all 3 coins land on one common side (heads or tails)
beleive it or not remains 50% (quantity of coins does not change the odds)
