It is sad and I see it everyday! The really amazing part is how much salespeople like that make. Some times I wonder if they were trained that a good lie is that best way to cover up for lack of knowledge. Thinking of twin turbos, I just finished reading about the CL65 AMG 604 hp@4800 rpm, 738 lb-ft@2000 rpm!!!!!

Subject: Dealerships are funny. Twin turbo four cylinder.
> Went looking at an SRT-4 which was supposed to be in... it wasn't. On the way home, I stopped at the Mitsubishi dealer just to look at the Evo 8 they have. It had a 5,000 dollar markup! Some old guy smoking a cigarette comes over. I tell him that it's not worth it vs. the SRT-4. He tells me it's alot more car than a SRT-4. I dunno about *alot* more, but fair enough. Then he tells me it's got twin turbos, racing suspension, racing seats, a race roll cage, etc. So I tell him the SRT-4 has a "race suspension", "race seats" and the EVO doesn't have a roll-cage, just structural enhancements. He laughs. I tell him that for 300 some dollars, the Neon will be just as fast (Mopar Stage 1 = 13.6 1/4 mile, 300 bucks). Then I tell him that there's only one turbo on the car. He says, "no two". I say "wanna open the hood?" He looks at me like, "yeah, sure, you know more than me, yeah right" So I say "Bye, have a nice day" and walk away with a grin on my face. Don't you thi!
