Noooo!!! Possible SMS or clutch failure.

OK, so does anyone think I did any damage - I got the car locked in Reverse while it was running (don't ask) with the ebrake on, so it made a terrible banging noise when it stalled.  Then, we had to drag it around a little bit in gear (backwards) to get it on the flatbed.  My linkage is probably hurting, cause the tow guy (a VW fan) slammed it out of gear.
