Veering OT, was Re: [TECH] 3a dyno in and I am disappointed,sorta...



What's all this turbo crap??
Nothing like an ultra-responsive normally aspirated engine!

T3/T04E sitting on a shelf waiting for it's day to come!

Just to be disagreeable, the Volvo T3 has a .63 A/R turbine housing. The
compressor is a 50 trim (meaning the inducer area is 50% of the exducer!!!)
It's not much. My nephew says power starts to drop off at 5500 RPM on his
JH. I seem to recall it was better than that, so a quick systems check is in
order.
