Articles, Ads, Scirocco Literature, Oh My!

Hey....any insight into why the stupid ads aren't displaying unless I 
select view image?  I am sure it is something simple, but I don't know 
anything about making websites as you can tell.

and I don't want to talk about the forward slash thing  : )
