Waaaay OT: FM transmitters for MP3 collection
Not true. While I'm more experienced with car audio, I bet comp audio is the same. Each one of those speakers could have a max of 100w and the sub a max of 400w. RMS could be 1/4 of that, easy. I'm pretty sure with the no-name type companies, peak power = the amount of power we were able to shove at it before it went PooF! That's not the way a brand say, Harmon-Kardon rates their stuff I'm very sure. I know with car audio stuff, for cheapo stuff they say a 20% lower amount in the amps and speakers for much power they put out/can take. Just my $0.02, hope this won't turn into a raging debate.
