By far the best commercially available cleaner of oil from fabric is Amway
LOC. Unfortunately the poop is only available from door-to-door Amway salesmen,
but you could always call the local distrib office. First blot all the oil you
can from the carpet with some absorbent rags... then drape it over the fence,
slather on the LOC, let sit for a few minutes, then hose down with water and
scrub out with a long, soft-to-medium bristle brush. Such detail, you say?
Well, I just had to get some gnarly oil footprints out of a small area rug a
weekend or two ago :-)))
