hydro lifters and cam info
This is generally true for American V8's and probably lots of other cars. In
my experience, if the cam is made from quality material, then it isn't
necessary to change the lifters (or valve adjustment shims in a solid lifter
head provided the clearance is correct) in a VW when installing a new cam.
