Relay question...

At the worst, you get a short, the wiring gets hot, and the car goes up in flames !!!

The bulbs themselves ARE fuses (think about it).

Put a proper fuse on the power wire, between the battery and the relay block.

A good rule of thumb is to put the fuse as close to the power supply as possible.

  Subject: Relay question...

This goes out to Patrick in particular, but anyone can answer:
Is it really necessary to run a fuse block in-between the power wiring of Euro headlight relay systems? I mean, at worst, the bulbs blow out and the wiring gets burnt, right?
And would this ever be likely to happen anyway? Thanks.
