Sorry, but you really are pretty much going to have to
dissect the wiring diagrams and test everything
piece-by-piece. You know how to read them, right? Kind
of odd as wiring diagrams go, but they have been
(almost) perfectly accurate in every case I've used
them so far.

I had to do all that on my '77. Took forever, but I
*did* eventually find and solve my problems.
