Swap out intake cam with an exhaust?
Does anyone have any pictures of what is cut off the cam as described in
the site below? Also, anyone have a drawing showing the angles of where
the new keyway is cut for the cam? I am not sure that there is enough
information for a machine shop to go on. Also, I am assuming now that
the cam is flipped around and that is why a keyway has to be cut,
otherwise the existing one will hold the gear in place.
I also find it interesting that it claims an 8 hp gain! It would nice
to move into the 130 hp range (remember, my other car is an 8v
Scirocco).
