NTSC perhaps?

How will the video be displayed?  If its on a dedicated monitor, you MIGHT be able to swap the wires on the horizontal deflection coil. (or, I think some monitors have a switch to do this)

Any chance you could introduce a mirror into the optical path? (or is this how this problem came about in the first place?)
