Facing a change in scirocco situation [long]

I do have a MTB Specialized Rockhopper but I am into road biking more(Lemond
Zurich). I bike about 75-100 miles a week. I have alot of twists, turns,
and hills in my area (Bal. MD). There is nothing like going 45 mph downhill
around a turn on my bike.
