Eric,
Yes, I am using a 5 bar gauge and sender. In fact, this exact
gauge and sender was used sucessfully on my 1.8 16v engine that
was in my '80 just months ago. But I tried other gauges and senders
as well to make sure... mechanical gauge is next on the list.
