Just turn the oil pump. spray some oil in the spark plug holes. No =
more required. This is assuming a newly-rebuilt engine, not one with =
miles.

outside of a car that is?

I have a motor that's been sitting stationary for a while and I was
wondering if I should be doing anything to keep it from seizing...

It's been inside an attached garage the whole time, very dry humidity
  conditions.

I was thinking of spinning the intermediate shaft with a drill to =
circulate
oil (after oil change of course) and then turning the crank by hand, =
then
cam etc... It's an 8v (PG variety).

  does this sound good?
