An '83 8v I guess right?
1) check the timing of the motor, both the upper cam and the fly wheel.
2)I don't think its a leaky O ring since it ran previously. But. If you 
spray carb cleaner on the injectors and the engine revs up then it could be 
the O rings.
3) check the cold start injector. try jumpering 12v across the 2 contacts. 
you should hear it click when power is applied. Try to start the car.

Good luck. I find crying helps some times, but in your case...   :)
