moisture in the distributer woes

  what is the best way to prevent moisture from building up in the 
distributer cap? i've tried those distributer boots, tried replacing the cap 
(incase there a crack that i couldn't see) and such but no matter what after 
about 2 days there's visible moisture in the cap. any ideas? tia
