New Exhaust System Advice

No, it ain't. My point is that *zero* backpressure is always best. However,
that zero backpressure can't come at the expense of reduced exhaust gas
velocity or output will be reduced. Is that what you said? Perhaps my
reading comprehension is off today, but I don't think so...
What you said before was:
"There is an ideal amount of back pressure for every motor. Too much is
restrictive and not enough messes with the vacuum effect or swirl or
something but causes a reduction in power also. If your running a turbo or
something then it's different but if it's just an N/A motor then there is an
ideal amount you just gotta find it."
I reiterate that *zero* backpressure is always best. There no amount of
backpressure that optimizes power. However, there will inevitably be a
certain amount of backpressure in any exhaust system tuned or not. The
backpressure itself, however, is always a hindrence and never a help. Thus,
there is no "ideal amount of back pressure for every motor".
This isn't a semantic disagreement. Rather, it is a fundamental controversy
that hotrodders have been debating since day one. Engineering principle
reveals the truth, however.
